Filming Day 3 and 4
Day 3
On that day, I film shot 12 which is where Beatrice is competing in spelling bee contest.
Shot 12
During the filming of this scene, I have tested out with two different lenses to see which one looks good. In my opinion, the second image is the one I like the most, meaning that the lens Sigma 10-20 is the lens I would use for a medium shot of the characters since the image matches Anderson's style more. Furthermore, it was difficult to get rid of the light in the corner of the frames. The filming went ok but after looking back at the shots after filming, I realise that they are really noisy due to the lack of more lighting. I feel that I need to reshoot with a better location than a classroom whiteboard. I will look into that later.
Thus, the lesson I took from that filming day: wider shot is better than the lens, get more lights too
Day 4
I film the first and seventh shot of the film of the mother drinking her tea.
Shot 1 and 7
To be honest, I was really satisfied with the shots that I was being able to produce as they came out with a good quality. However, after watching the two shots, there are some things I want to change.

To be honest, I was really satisfied with the shots that I was being able to produce as they came out with a good quality. However, after watching the two shots, there are some things I want to change.
Changes are:
- Shot 1: The frame is too tight and so the radio is cut and so the tea. To match what I wrote on the shot list, I will need to film with a wider lens so it has everything in the frame
- Shot 1: The shadow on the table is too harsh, does not correspond to Wes Anderson's style, so I need to ask Mr Andrews how I can fix it
- Shot 7: Same applies as Shot 1 with the harsh shadows but the teacup is really in the centre, really satisfying to watch
